Wyoming registered · ships from US warehouses
Commercial door hardware, specified correctly.
Closers, exit devices, locks, keypads, hinges and door accessories in ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 and Grade 2. Quoted the same business day, shipped direct.
Eight commercial lines
What we supply
Pick a line to see what it covers, what we hold in stock, and what we confirm with you before anything ships. Nothing here navigates away, so you can compare two lines without losing your place.
Door closers
Surface mounted closers in Grade 1 and Grade 2, fire rated and hold open variants, and retrofit patterns that reuse the holes already in your door.
Exit devices and panic hardware
Rim panic bars and fire exit hardware, with the trim, mullions and cylinders that have to be ordered alongside them.
Locks and levers
Cylindrical lever sets and deadbolts by ANSI function. Commercial grade stock is narrower than our accessory lines, so a lot of this is quoted.
Keypad locks
Standalone battery keypad locksets, programmed at the door. No wifi, no app and no subscription, which is deliberate and is the whole point of the line.
Mechanical pushbutton locks
Fully mechanical code entry. No batteries and no wiring at all, so it cannot lose power and there is nothing to replace annually.
Hinges
One of our two deepest stocked lines. Ball bearing butts for ordinary openings, and continuous geared where a door has already started to sag.
Gate and pool hardware
Self closing gate hardware, including the parts a pool barrier inspection actually looks at.
Door accessories
Our deepest stocked line by a wide margin, and the parts most often ordered alongside something else.
Buying guides
What decides the part number
One guide per line, written for someone holding a broken part rather than for a specifier. No sign-up and no download form.
Who we serve
Built for people who maintain buildings
Not architects and not new construction. Replacement and refresh hardware on openings that already exist.
Property managers
Portfolios that reorder the same hardware across buildings for years. Keyed alike, and specifications kept on file.
How it worksFacility and maintenance teams
Schools, churches, clinics and offices, where a door that will not latch is today’s problem and not next quarter’s project.
Small general contractors
Replacement and refresh on openings that already exist. Not drawings, not new build, not public bids.
Locksmiths and glaziers
Trade buyers who already know what they want and need it specified correctly and shipped without a conversation.
Pool and gate owners
Barrier hardware that has to satisfy an inspection. We say what a product is listed for; your AHJ makes the final call.
Landlords and short-let hosts
Single properties where the lock has to work tomorrow and nobody has a maintenance contract to fall back on.

- 04 It ships direct From the nearest warehouse with stock, with tracking.
Identification
Cannot identify the part? Send a photo.
Most hardware fails long after anyone has the paperwork. Send a photo of the failed part and the door it sits on. We identify the make, model and function, then spec the current replacement with the right grade, handing and finish.

Straight answers
Common questions
Do I need a part number?
No. Send a photo of the hardware and the door, plus the ship-to zip. Most commercial hardware carries a stamped or cast marking, and where it does not, the mounting pattern and dimensions are usually enough.
How fast does it arrive?
Ground runs 1 to 4 business days in the contiguous US, and most metro addresses see 1 to 2. Orders placed and paid on a business day ship the same or next business day.
Grade 1 or Grade 2?
Grade 1 is heavy duty commercial and belongs on main entrances, stairwells and high traffic openings. Grade 2 is lighter commercial duty for lower traffic interior doors. Grade 3 is residential and we do not sell it.
Can you match our existing keys?
Usually. Tell us the keyway and we quote cylinders keyed alike to your system, or across a group of new doors. Keyed orders are confirmed in writing and cannot be returned once cut.
Will you tell us if it meets code?
We tell you what a product is listed for and what its specification sheet says. We are not code consultants. Whether an installation meets fire, egress or accessibility code is decided by your Authority Having Jurisdiction, and the AHJ makes the final call.
Who you are buying from
A founder-run dealer that does not pretend to hold stock.
Latchford Hardware LLC is registered in Wyoming and run by its founder. Orders ship directly from national distributor warehouses across the US, which is why they arrive in 1 to 2 days in the lower 48.
